Is there such an animal?

What I would like to do is draw up something or trace it in CorelDraw, print the line art onto the mask using my inkjet printer and then lay it down on the bristol/illustration board where I can then weed it.

Or if this is not available, has anyone tried printing on a transparency and then using a spray adhesive? I would be worried about the spray glue not releasing from the surface being painted.

Obviously the best answer is to get a plotter, but that is going to have a to wait a bit for funds.

You can get yourself some transfer tape (used for sign vinyl transfer)
apply it to standard printer paper and print on it. Give it time for the ink to dry before you touch it.
Remove it from the paper and apply to the surface you wish to paint.
If there is a sign shop in your area, stop by and see if they will sell you a role that is close to the end for a few buck to give it a try. That is what I did some years ago before I got a projector. Did it a couple of times but soon gave up on masking.. to much work cutting...
