Thread: White tiger on Denim

If nothing else, I've got lots of practice on dagger strokes and found out something.... You can't get detail on denim like you can on a hard surface. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out but the whites aren't white enough for me..... maybe I need to wash it in a brightening detergent.... LOL

Anyway, here are progress pics and what I think is the final piece. The wife said "don't screw it up I'm using that in a quilt"

Oh, by the way, the wife washed the denim wolf and nothing seems to have happened to it. Still looks good. Both pieces were done with Wicked paints, heat set and then sprayed with "Save a Tee" from Coast Airbrush.

That turned out Great Cliff, nice looking tiger ! There must be some way to get the wihites to pop? We just haven't found it yet. Thanks for the news on how it washed, and about the Save a T product too.

goin off, cdv(that's a good thing) yeh, white can be a real pain.... and nothin like a bit of pressure from the missus to make you perform at your best!!

Try laying down a coat of the "Save a Tee" before you start painting the white, that or GAC900 will help give you a solid base to work from.
You may also find that laying down a good layer of white, then heat setting it will help you with this problem, it gives you a solid base that won't have the added colors bleed into it, so it stays nice and white.
