Default Heat set paint on stove top

Hey I know it sounds weird, But here’s what I've been trying. We have a ceramic top stove and I have been ironing to heat set shirts on it, mostly because it can take the heat and it also retains it abit. BUT it occurred to me that what if I heated from both sides?... so I turned all the burners on low and then ironed the top. It got hot.. With all the trouble I've been having with wash out I thought I would turn up the heat.... ( get it ).
I have had no scorching but I did get that heat setting paint smell. Which is good !

    I ironed for about 7 - 8 mins.

So what do you guys think ??

I hope that you get in touch with the stove company about selling your idea, why not use a section of ceramic counter top tiles to lay on top of the tee to press it ?

I could use the tiles on the counter top, but this stove is much bigger and flatter. As well with the stove I get heat from both sides.

Canadian Tire had a point and shout thermometer on sale this week but was sold out so I'm on rain check and I want to check the actual temp. when Ironing. I will let you know what it reads.

Paul, you are thinking small, most counter tops that I see are bigger than any stove that I see , had a piece of stone counter top cut to cover a tee, warm it on the stove and lay it over the tee, it will press the tee and heat set the paint at the same time, JUST make sure that the counter top piece are heat-proof
