    Default Flag done!!

    Finished up the second side of the canvas flag.
    The first 2 pics are the finished flag
    Next is the ref pic and the last is the background ref.
    I took some out of focus pictures of plants and cut the rose and pasted in the rose
    I updated that first picture after I got it hung up outside.. some reflection on the lense but colors are better then the inside shot.

    Wow.. That is really an impressive reproduction! You managed to nail the fine detail of the flower and the soft focus of the background. You should be very proud of your work there....

    Your flag is beautiful!! & very clever too!! I'm not one to display my airbrush work in or around my home, but I'm tempted to start a flag..I think you've got a wonderful subject for a how-to right here..I wonder how well it will hold up to the UV rays?? They destroy anything in a short period of time.. it sure shows how much you're enjoying the airbrush..nice work!!

    he actually has already done one on the cottage flag I'm working on getting into the on line mag. this week, he did a great job with it

    Thanks everyone! I have to say, I like the rose better then the cottage. I hate masking and cutting but it really does make things pop!
    Now if the paint just holds up in the sun I will be a very happy camper!

    BTW, I did a how-to on the rose as well, but I don't think I took enough pictures.. I keep painting and forget to stop and shoot.

    Done... and well done.

    The cottage was perfect. Nothing to be shy of. And the rose is even better.

    How can I say it. I can't believe you've been airbrushing for only 9 months or so. Or did you say 9 years...???

    Great Job! You've done yourself proud. You may not like the masking and stenciling, not to fond of it myself, but you did a good job of it.

    Great job - I kept going back and forth looking at the pictures and easily got mixed up on which was real and which was painted.
