    Default First Shirt

This is a practice shirt and more or less of an experiment also. I did not spend a lot of time on it. I was just doing this to get use to spraying on a shirt and also a test to see if the auto air colors would hold up. I used auto air , autoborne, and createx on the shirt.

Thanks Deo for the compliment and sharing those two shirts in your post. When you spray a shirt I have been reading that most people spray at 45 to 50 psi so that the paint will get into the material. How light should the paint be applied though? I have noticed that if I go to heavy with the paint the shirt material starts to fuzz up a little. Is this from being to heavy on the paint or not allowing enough dry time between coats or a combo of both?

I spray at 60 psi not to get paint into shirt but to get the paint outta the AB cause i dont thin the paint for shirts. You can go light if you want and yes combination of both if you blast it too wet you will get fuzzys.
Here's a trick i learned to get rid of fuzzys, before doing any artwork take some createx transparent base spray everywhere your going to paint then heat set. What this does is bonds all the fuzzys down flat and it gives you a more crisp and clean artwork in the end.
    Hope this helps,
    Deo

    Downpainter,
The stuff he is talking about is createx extender.I do the same thing. When you are done.Turn the shirt inside out and put it in the dryer for 45 min on high.Or you use a iron. That takes to long.
