Auto Borne vs Createx test

I was reading a couple of threads yesterday and I read that Createx Wicked is the same as the AutoBorne paint (maybe). So I did a test on a black T using Createx (old formula) vs new AutoBorne. My verdict is that the Createx gave me much better coverage on the T than the AutoBorne. AutoBorne seemed a bit more transparent. So I finally finished the T with Createx.

BTW, AutoBorne shoots very well at ~40% reducer 30-35 PSI.

HI Isabourin, i'll add my 2 cents re old createx and wicked createx. I just got my createx wicked. bought online and paid less than half what i was paying at the store here for the old createx. I agree 100% that the wicked gives better coverage. the wicked is much thicker before reducing so i think it'll go a lot further. I painted a canvas for a friend, and had already got most of the way into it before the wicked arrived. I finished off with a combination of the old and new paint, mainly cause i have a much bigger range of colours in the old. the wicked cleans out of the brush better, flows out when painting a lot steadier, much easier to do lines. Tip dry didn't appear to be much of a difference, but i was using white mainly, and we all know what white is like.. I haven't given it much of a test run yet, but i'm going to try finishing a project i started in auto base colours, with the wicked, as long as there is no reaction between the different paints.
