Thread: new to air brush, need help

Hi from Austin, I have started building model air planes and enjoy it very much and want to do good work but am having a problem with my air brush. It is a Testors aztek that I got from my wife, I have a pancake compressor which I have set to 20 psi. I am using enamel paint. When I spray the paint goes on gritty, I have tried to lower the pressure but it does not help. I don't see anyone here talking about testors so maybe that tells me something about the brush. Should I get a different one? My next build will be done in acrylic, maybe that will do better. Help!!
