    Default Firebird T-shirt

    Hi All,
Well I finally got a paying job, and now I have some paying problem situations. LOL

First HOW TO COPY THIS to a T-shirt so it looks right?

I don't do a lot of Ts, and I have no Clue what makes a 67 Firebird look like a Firebird...... So, I'm going off his T shirt.

I tried to freehand this on paper, and it looks nothing like what it should. LOL It SUCKS actually. Don't think I can Freehand a car at this point, it's just not what I do. CARS, too many straight perfect lines, curves, etc.

So, how would you tranfer the design over to the two new T-shirts to air brush them......

Then, how much would you charge to AB these T-shirts on the Front, The Pocket, and on the Backs?

I told the guy I'd do them for $25 -$35 when he asked me at a show 3-4 weeks ago, but he didn't mention Front, back and pocket then.

I'll do these shirts at a lower price just to get him wearing them at a car shows, for advertising. He wants me to put my advertising on them somehow? I haven't figured that out yet.

He brought the shirts to my booth last weekend, and dropped them off . It's the one I posted 1st Car Show Done. Anyway, I was busy and didn't get to talk about the shirts, but that's when I found out they were two sided.

I just got construction work in, multiple jobs, need to be done last week things, and have been working from 8 in the morning and not getting home till after 8 in the evening all week. Now, he's calling wanting his shirts. LOL I need to get them done pretty quick. But have construction this week, next week, and Car / Harley shows that I'm supposed to be gearing up for during the week on each of the next two week ends....... Ahhhhhhhhhh! ! ! Why does it have to B this way. LOL

I just don't have much time to experiment with this one to see what works right now.....

It's not going real well in that regard, so any thoughts or information from those of you who AB Tshirts often, on how I can transfer these designs and make them work would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the pics of what he's expecting.

It looks like the design might fit on an opaque projector. If it dose not I would put a piece of tracing paper over it and trace it out. Then marker the lines and stick it under the shirt and retrace onto the shirt. The other thing you could do is put serel paper under the tracing and trace over the lines. Just don't rest your hands on the paper and serel paper because it will rub off on the shirt.

Thannks Fred, I'll try tracing paper as I have some of that handy. I appreciate you taking the time to share your ideas with me.

    Hey Greger,
I'm not a T shirt guy either, but I probably would try printing out your pics and making stencils. ?

Thanks BoneScraper, I thought about that too. It's on the back burner for now, cause I'm trying to get the truck unloaded, so I can load it for the car show tomorrow.... Too much prep and work to do, to be able to do the actual work right now. LOL Feel like I'm living all those Murphy's Laws things.

You can also get a cheap lightbox to help make your stencils.

I'd definitely go stencils especially if you've got to do multiples.Use the computer to resize for pockets and such.

Thanks Kaiilla, I ended up just tracing the design. Full description on another string. Been too busy to think about much, lot's to do with work and ABing booths, plus fall's here and have to harvest the garden and put up vegies for winter food.......

    Smiling all the way man.

    Hope you're well.
