Hi guys,
I have been hiding in a room prepping for my finals so I have been outta commission for the last month or so. I finished the course that I am taking before the Christmas break. All that is left is the final exams and I get my life completely back, wooooot!
Anyway to start off my paint-a-thon / Christmas break I did some signs for a huge motorcycle forum out here in California. It is based out of the SF Bay area. This year has been really bad for fatalities and a lot of people have lost loved ones so they decided to have a memorial service to deal with all of the tough stuff that has gone on this year.
They asked me to do some signs, the ones with the arrows and the smiley faces (the forum's mascot) were to help people find the place. The other one was for everyone to sign like a guest book and to give to the forum boss. It was quite a cool event, a little sad to see people grieving for loved ones but most everyone went away with a positive attitude and happy for what they have.
The signs were pretty basic. I painted a white base over galvanized steel sheets then shot the green and trimmed it with HOK urethane striping paint (killer stuff BTW).
The memorial "guest book" sign was a blue pearl over white with a sparkling silver and red candy for the border then I used the Uro striping paint for the lettering.
The last pic is my two daughters "helping" us clean the bathroom.
I also have a serious case of "backed up projects-itus" so more pics to come of stuff that I get done during the break.
Merry Christmas all!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oz
