Thread: YAMAHA R1

Hi

Here my last custom paint job almost finished.
Just will have to sand it and buff it when it will be completly dry.
The base coat is a black /blue base coat , mix of binder and electric blue pearl powder. The design has been done with silver base coat scuff with scotchbrit to get a special effect.
Weels and other pieces are always in the booth...
Too much pieces to paint on this kind of bike, very light plastic stuff sometime hard to fix for paint job!
It's the first time i paint sport bike and i have spent a lot of paint stuff on it ...and too much time.... very bad commercial deal on this project.
I've taken the reference pict for this project on the HOK website, nothing come from my head.

Hope the customer will like it.

Here few photos of the R1 terminated.
I would have prefer to take picts on sunny day but it seems that we will not see sun during a week here in France;
I'm happy of the result , hope it will be the same for the customer.
