Thread: HEMI ENGINE COVER CANDY AUTO AIR PETER LORAN

i ordered this hemi engine cover off ebay.my plan is to paint and hang it up as part of my portfolio.i got it shipped and payed for about 60.00$ i thinks that is what it was???any way its affordable.it will look interesting also.

it came with silver on the center and the hemi letters.

i washed it soapy water,wiped it down with a silicone cleaner.scuffed the hemi letters with a wet green scotch pad.

dismantled the center and did the same.then it got washed again.dried,wiped down with a silicone cleaner.

i used auto air candy in a passche vl#3.i mixed the auto air candy with bond all and catylist and auto air reducer.sprayed at 35 psi.

one coat of walmart rattle can clear.it is good to go.
looks great hanging on my display wall and in my studio.
