Default BIKE LIVES UP TO ITS MURAL "FRANKY"

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS CAMERAS WERE JUST NOT MENT TO BE AROUND THE SHOP. IF IT IS NOT RIPPED OFF, THE CHARGER GETS LOST, OR ALL OF A SUDDEN IT JUST DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE ACCORDING TO MY CO-WORKERS. NEVERTHELESS HERE IS MY TAKE ON BORIS KARLOFF'S FRANKENSTEIN. THIS BIKE WAS BUILT WITH PARTS DUG UP FROM AROUND THE SHOP. THE ONLY NEW PARTS ARE THE GAS TANK REAR WHEEL AND OIL CAN. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS CUT CHOPPED WELDED AND MADE TO FIT. ALL THIS TO CREATE A SEVENTIES PERIOD STYLE RIGID CHOPPER, JOCKEY SHIFT, NO TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS, NO FRONT BRAKE, AND TONS OF CHARISMA. ON THE PAINT SIDE WE BROUGHT IT UP TO DATE WITH A FLAT TREATMENT FROM HOUSE OF KOLOR OVER A DUPONT SPECTRA-MASTERS GREEN BASE SPRAYED WITH OVER THIRTY LAYERS OF ORGANIC GREEN KANDY FROM HOUSE OF KOLOR ON THE DARKEST SECTIONS OF PORTRAIT. ALL OF THE PORTRAIT WAS RENDERED USING OVER REDUCED KANDY TO ACHIEVE THE SUBTLE NUANCES OF THE FACE. THE HIGHLIGHTS ARE ACTUALLY THE BASE COLOR OF THE TANK, TINTING EVERYTHING ELSE TO GIVE THE ILLUSION OF HIGHLIGHTS. MORE STUFF ON THE WAY AS SOON AS I GET A WORKING CAMERA....

roughly two months working on it on and of. you could say it has been in the making for ten years. long story short the donor motor had been sitting at the shop forever. one day we figured why not make something out of it instead of just taking up space. no sooner are we mocking it up, and someone takes a liking to it. the Frankenstein was the customers idea must say it is very befitting for this build.

been trying to get away from the more commercialized stenciled out work thanks for the compliment. and to think somebody came up with Franky back in the thirties and he is still going strong. yup he is A#1....
