    Default Tanning and Nail Art

My wife is interested in learning to do nail art and the spray tanning. Can anyone give us some ideas on what brushes would be good for doing this? She doesn't want to buy anything real expensive to start out with in case this doesn't work out for her. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

For doing nails, brushes like Grex's XD or XN, Olympos's HP-100A or 100B, Iwata's HPA or HPB, would do very nicely, I know several nail artists that use either an Olympos HP 8, HP 88, and or a Grex XA for the large areas, and clear acrylic coats, these are single action brushes, with a good bit more control on the trigger button than most airbrushes have, you can dial in and lock the paint volume for repetitive spraying.

For the tanning, you or she may find that a small spray gun in combination with something like an XA will do the trick. While tanning doesn't generally require super detailed work, it does require a smooth, consistent finish, for some reason customers don't like to end up looking like a zebra.
There are a ton of inexpensive spray guns out there, there are a couple of companies that sell little turbine guns for doing tanning. I don't know how well they work or how durable they are, but the theory is solid. If they are well enough built, they let you spray with the gun without requiring a larger compressor to handle the CFM dilemma you would normally face with a conventional spray gun.
I would suggest that you/she also consider doing airbrush/fake tattoos.
you are already investing in the equipment, you may as well take their money for that too.
