Thread: topcase pinstriping

Hi

I did this bike few month ago and received the topcase to do the same design. Pinstriping + blue fire , done with Mack 000 brush , HOK silver pinstriping paint and blue base coat!
the design has been drawn with stabilo pencil and tranfered on the other side with a vey thing point to get very thin lines.
At the end, The stabilo is removed with glass alcool cleaner.
It makes a long time i didn't touch my pinstriping brush and i had to practice again over a test panel before to be confortable to start on the topcase!
Just have to clear it when the whether will be nice
Pinstriping seems not to be like bycicle, if you don't practice , you lost a lot !

Even if i don't use ma brush a lot , i really like to play with it! Have more pinstriping orders would be a good motivation to practice more, and if the pinstriping paints were cheaper .... I have only one colour

I use HOK paint because all the customers i had wanted cleared job!
i have used one shot just to train me but nobody asked me just pinstriping over already cleared job. All my old one shots are dried and can't be used anymore
