Hok has a product called U kosmic kolor urthane striping and lettering enamel.
Its designed for striping , lettering and airbrush artwork. Apply over existing finished or topcoat with clear for a smoothe durable finish..The enamel may be top coated with acrylic Lacquer, urethane enamel, acrylic enamel and alkyd enamel.. For airbrushing with this product reduce 100-150% with RU311 medium dry reducer for good sprayability..IF you are going to do art work this way you must lay down some intercoat clear (1-2 coats) on any metalic or pearl base coats before any art work is applied.
Just beware when clearing art work with this stuff adjust gun and bring the clear on slowly to prevent sliding of artwork.Allow flash time between coats and use fast reducer..Use medium coats...Hope this helps out... re

I dont think you would want to use if for basing... You would be better using a true base kolor... May I ask what it is you are trying to do..I think you would have problems with lifting and sliding.....You could also get tape marks as well and if you are trying to use as a base you will need to use there catalyst....Ku200

I think also that since they are high pigment you will get bleeding and leaching problem as well... What the cost offset bettween a base kolor and using Hok striping enamels??
