As always Fres sweet striping is this one of the gas burner covers ?
that is lovely , its so "elegant" i know, funny word !! but it is! riki.
Wow! That's really sweet Fres, looks great with the verigated leaf and teal playing off the reds in it! That's a beautiful combo of colors to work with.

Pretty Cool John!

If you handed an infant a brush with paint on it... that would be about the equivelant of MY "pinstriping". So, my cap is off to anyone who does it well, and you did a heck of a job! Awesome work, come to Phoenix and teach me.![]()
Thank you very much Witchy and WantedR1 for the nice comments
on this Burner Cover I did. This is about the coolest item I do,
and alot of them I give as gifts to friends. The baked on surface
makes it great for striping, lettering, airbrushing, almost any type of
painting. The price has gone up. Used to be about $4.99 for 2 big ones
2 small ones. Now its $9., and you can get only black or spun steel.
Maybe I will try some ground metal on them too.
Thanks again,
Fresnojohns

hey fresno, that looks great mate!!! and it ain't easy, i guess. i did a quick flame in ground metal with AA candy, it turned out fine, but i pinstriped around it, didn't have the right brush or the right paint, so i did a quick pinstripe with a normal brush and createx.........i didn't post it, lol
Dave,
Thank you for the good words. I really enjoy doing these.
I thought I would tell you something I have tried before.
I ordered a striping brush from Mack called a Series 70. You can
use water base paints with them. They work pretty cool too.
I haven't tried AA yet, but tried with Black Createx. If you get any
remember this, use water base paints for these only. Do not mix
with other paints. Once I use a certain brush with certain paint
it stays that way. To be safe also never use a regular Mack green
or blue wraps with water. I will post some water base stuff soon.
Thanks again,
Fresnojohns
