Thread: Issue #13

Thank you Don, I've just received my issue #13. That was quick!

In opening the magazine, the first article I come accross is by Leon Knook is about doing portrait on a black t-shirt. I was simply blown away by the he gets his reference pic onto the black shirt. This is something that I found to be a problem even with a projector. I was having dificulty finding my marks. For my Predator and Alien on black, I was using a white chalk like pencil for tracing and even then, by the time I got to certain areas of the painting, they would fade away to almost nothing, making it a bit frustrating at times.

But now, Leon's technique fixed all that for me. It's so so simple and I can't wait to give it a try.

This is exactly the type of information I expected to obtain when I subscribed to this magazine!!!! Man-o-man I'm so happy!

Keep your eye open for some more paintings on black Tee's!!
