Paint Your Scooter
By Don Johnson
Airbrush Artist
For the back yard painter here's my "How to " dealing with painting your scooter ( motorcycle ). You can do this and have it look every bit as professional as any bike sprayed in a booth and ton's of people all over the country do it every day. So here's the Airhead way that has served me well for years and my bikes place very well in every show they have ever been entered in.

Grizzly Bike
By Mick Cassidy
Mick is part of a group of three that custom paint bikes in Los Angels, Cal. They started their business in 1995 in a garage much like we all do. Thru word of mouth their business has as Mick say " Gone thru the roof ". Looking at their work it's easy to understand why they are doing so well.
Mick Cassidy handles the art and graphics. Bob Iverson does the pinstripe work and lettering. Jim Murillo handles the welding and prep work. Each owns their own business but the three come together to put out some killer paint jobs."We like to do complex jobs and don't like production type jobs .Mick uses Iwata airbrushes exclusively not for any other reason than " I use what...

This being the first issue of the magazine,... and not having any of your questions to answer,... I guess I'll just rant for awhile on something that I think is a very important, and sometimes a very neglected part of what we do,... safety. With the success of shows like American Chopper and Monster Garage, the...
